Piper-heidsieck - Brut Champagne NV is produced in a traditional sparkling wine region, where grapes are hand harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve freshness. Base wines are fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel before blending.

Secondary fermentation takes place either by the classic méthode traditionnelle in bottle or the Charmat method in pressurized tanks, depending on style. Lees aging is carefully monitored to develop texture, while disgorgement and dosage decisions are made to maintain balance.

The producer emphasizes clarity, precision, and respect for tradition, ensuring a sparkling wine built on craftsmanship rather than shortcuts.

Piper-Heidsieck

Piper-Heidsieck is a distinguished French champagne house with a rich and storied history that dates back to 1785. Founded by Florens-Louis Heidsieck, the brand was built on his ambition to "create a cuvée worthy of a queen." He succeeded, as Queen Marie Antoinette herself became one of the brand's earliest and most influential admirers. The name Piper-Heidsieck was solidified in 1838 when the founder's nephew partnered with Henri-Guillaume Piper, whose names were eventually joined together.

The brand's identity is defined by its bold, structured, and fruit-forward style, with a preference for Pinot Noir grapes in its blends. Piper-Heidsieck is celebrated for its commitment to excellence, which has earned it numerous international awards. This dedication to quality is evident in their winemaking process and their prestige cuvée, Rare, which is only produced in exceptional vintage years.

Beyond its winemaking, Piper-Heidsieck is deeply entwined with the world of cinema. It made one of the first appearances of champagne on the big screen in a 1933 film and has since become a fixture at major events. The brand famously had Marilyn Monroe as a fan and has been the official champagne of prestigious film festivals and awards ceremonies, solidifying its reputation as a symbol of celebration and glamour.
