Tanteo - Blanco Tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber agave cultivated in Jalisco, harvested only when fully mature. Piñas are slow‑cooked to convert inulin into fermentable sugars, then crushed to release the sweet juice.

Fermentation proceeds in stainless steel tanks with natural or selected yeasts before the wash is distilled, typically twice, in copper pot stills or stainless steel columns. For reposado and añejo styles, the spirit rests in oak barrels, where it develops additional complexity while keeping agave character at the forefront.

Production is carried out with respect for tradition and modern quality standards, yielding a tequila that reflects discipline and heritage.

Tanteo

Tanteo is a brand of hand-crafted, 100% agave tequila infused with natural and distinct flavors. The brand's identity is a blend of traditional tequila production methods and a modern, innovative approach to flavor. It was founded with the mission of creating a delicious and versatile product that brings a fresh twist to classic cocktails, particularly spicy margaritas.

The brand's philosophy centers on a deep respect for the art of tequila-making. Tanteo is made in the historic distillery of the Juanacatlan community in Jalisco, Mexico. They use only Blue Weber agave and a process that involves slow cooking in brick ovens, fermentation with natural yeast, and distillation in copper pot stills.

However, the key differentiator for the Tanteo brand is its infusion process. The tequilas are infused with real jalapeños, chipotle peppers, and habaneros. This focus on authentic, fiery flavor is at the heart of the brand's unique selling proposition. The name "Tanteo" itself is a Spanish word that means "a little taste" or "a little something," which speaks to the subtle but distinct heat that each tequila provides. The brand's portfolio includes three main expressions: Tanteo Jalapeño, Tanteo Chipotle, and Tanteo Habanero. It is known for its bold flavor profile and its ability to serve as a key ingredient in spicy cocktails, which has made it a favorite among bartenders and consumers alike.
